Uttarakhand Pre-Medical Test (UPMT) is a state level entrance exam of Uttarakhand state. UPMT was organized by the HNBUMU (H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University). This entrance exam was prepared for providing admission in several medical programmes such as BDS/ MBBS offered by the government medical/ private/dental universities/colleges of Uttarakhand. Since the year 2016, it has been substituted by the NEET exam. The counselling for MSQS (medical state quota seats) will be arranged by the same HNBUMU (H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University). UPMT 2018 Registration

Candidates can fill their application form via online mode only which can be done through official website. Application Form for UPMT 2018 will be started from 3rd week of March 2018 (tentative). After the online registration, candidates are requested to take a hard-copy (printout) of the confirmation page for further preferences.

Application Fee

Candidates those who belong to General/OBC category need to pay Rs. 2000/- as an application fee whereas candidates belong to SC/ST category need to pay Rs. 1400/- for the same. Candidates can pay their application fee through both mode i.e. online mode (internet banking, credit card) or by offline mode (e-Challan and Bank Draft).

UPMT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Applicant must need to complete their intermediate examination or alike along with subjects like PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology) and English.
  • General categorycandidates need to secure minimum 50% of marks, whereas candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC category need to secure 40% of marks for the same & 45% (General Category PH).
  • Candidates having age between17 years to 25 years of age as on or before 31 December, 2018. Then they are eligible for the exam. Age relaxation of 5 years are given to the reserved category.
  • Appearing candidates are also eligible apply for UPMT 2018.
  • Applicant has a valid Domicile of UK(Uttarakhand)
  • Candidates those have completed their intermediate or high school from UK (Uttarakhand) Board, they can also eligible to apply.

UPMT Exam Pattern

  • UPMT 2018 question paper contain total 200 MCQ’s.
  • For each and every correct answer candidates will be rewarded with1 mark.
  • The Exam will be held in Hindi or English.
  • No negative markingwill be done in UPMT 2018.
  • Exam duration is 3 hours.

UPMT Syllabus 2018

Syllabus for UPMT is available on the official website of UPMT. From there, candidates can download their syllabus. The candidates should focus on the officially given syllabus and prepare thoroughly for that.

The syllabus will consist of  Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
The syllabus of UPMT will be prepared after analysing the different states syllabi as well as those prepared by NCERT, CBSE and COBSE.

UPMT 2018 Admit Card

Candidates need to download their admit card from the official website. UPMT Admit Card 2018 will be declared from the 1st week of May 2018 (tentative). Applicant can download the admit card by entering their application number that is provided to them at the time of filling their application form & DOB.

UPMT 2018 Merit List

UPMT has been replaced by NEET and hence the admission will be based on candidates’ merit in NEET exam. All candidates have to appear in NEET UG in order to become eligible for getting admission into MBBS/BDS programmed offered by the colleges of Uttarakhand state.

UPMT Cutoff

The cut off will be decided by the authorities and on the basis of cutoff marks scored by the candidate in the examination (UPMT). The list for cutoff will be released by the conducting authorities of UPMT. The cutoff list will be set on the basis of how many candidates appeared in the examination.

UPMT 2018 Answer Key

UPMT Answer Key 2018 will be announced by the organizing authority. The answer key will be published on the official site. With the help of answer key, applicant can get a rough idea that how much marks they got in exam.

UPMT 2018 Result

Result for UPMT 2018 will be published on the official website of HNBUMU. The controlling/ conducting body announced the result along with the merit and rank list. Candidates can check their result on the official website from 3rd week of May 2018 (tentative). Candidates are advised to take a hard-copy (print out) of the merit list for further counselling process.

UPMT 2018 Counselling

On the basis of merit list counselling will organized. There is no letter/notification/post will be sent to the candidates. The counselling process starts from the 2nd week of September 2018 (tentative). The counseling will be held only via online mode. Applicant need to pay the counselling registration fee i.e. Rs. 1000 for the candidates belong to General Category whereas Rs.700 for the candidates belong to SC/ST. The counselling will be conducted in 2 phases. In case seats will remain empty, then the 3rd phase counselling will be organized.
