FMGE 2018: FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Screening Exam) 2018 is the national level entrance examination for those Indian citizens who are possessing/ having medical education from foreign but keen/ eager of getting permanent or provisional registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council. FMGE is organized by NBE (National Board of Examinations) 2 times in a year i.e. in June and December 2018. FMGE 2018 Exam Dates
Here we provide all tentative exam dates for FMGE in the below table:
For June Session:

FMGE Application Form 2018
Online application for FMGE 2018 for June session will start from the last week of April to the 3rd week of May 2018. And for December session, the registration will start from the 3rd week of September and continue till last week of October 2018. Candidates can fill their application form by using online mode only.
Candidates need to pay Rs. 5500/- as an application fee. The prescribed application fee can be submitted through debit card/credit card/net banking.
- Application should be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
- Candidates should hold/have a primary medical qualification which is authorized by the Indian Embassy concerned to be a recognized qualification for enrolment as medical practitioner in the country.
- Candidates are required to show the proof of primary medical qualification before 31st of May, 2018 for June session exam.
- Aspirants those who are seeking for permanent or provisional registration shall not have to qualify the Screening Test if he/she have an UG medical qualification from New Zealand/United Kingdom/ Australia/ Canada/United States of America.
FMGE Exam Pattern
FMGE examination is divided into 2 parts. Both parts comprise of 150-150 questions. Exam time duration of 150 minutes (2:30 hours) will be allotted for each part. FMGE contain a weightage of total 300 MCQ’s questions. There will be no negative marking in the exam.
FMGE Admit Card 2018
Admit Card for FMGE 2018 will be issued by the Board/ Authority to the registered candidates after the successful completion of registration process. Candidates can also download the FMGE admit card by logging in to the official website of the authority using username & password.
Applicants like you who all are having Foreign Medical Qualifications have to take this examination in order to practice in India. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will be commencing the FMGE and the same will be done twice a year. This examination will be commenced in June and December month of every year.
You must notice that the examination for December month in 2019 will be commenced in December 2019. After getting qualified in FMGE, you will be getting a provisional/ permanent registration with MCI/ any SMCs (Medical Council of India/ State Medical Councils). This FMGE examination has made mandatory from the year of 2002 in order to assess the depth of knowledge of every applicant.
FMGE Result 2018
Result for FMGE 2018 for June session will be announced in the last week of July 2018. And for December session, the result will be declared in the second week of January 2018. Candidates can check the FMGE result through NBE (National Board of Examinations) website.
FMGE Cut-Off 2018
Passing marks for FMGE 2018 will be 150 marks out of total marks (i.e. 300 marks). Candidates those who secured prescribed marks will be declared/ asserted as ‘FMGE qualified’.
