How to get prepared for GATE 2018?
The very first step to start your preparation is to know the full syllabus of GATE examination. After that set a time table according to the GATE syllabus that you will have to cover. It is not enough/sufficient to set a timetable for your study time but more important is to follow that timetable.
1. How to start with preparation
GATE examination is one of the top examinations in India, hence all applicants are required to put lot of hard-work to get success in that. It is very important for the applicants to have the transparent understanding of the concepts. If they focus on mugging up the things & want to scoring high in the examination then it is going to be a tough time for them in the examination. Understanding all the concepts is even more important for the applicants than mugging up all the facts. GATE detailed Syllabus & Previous years’ question papers give you an idea about the pattern & topics that need to cover for the examination. Collection of study material will depend on the subject that applicant choose for GATE 2017. There are total 22 papers for GATE and applicants have to choose any one out of these 22 papers. The applicants need to choose the subject which they have studied in their graduation or pursuing. The general aptitude section is common and mandatory for all the applicants. Examination will contain a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes) only. Total 65 MCQ type questions will be asked in the question paper and the exam paper will contain a weightage of total 100 marks.
4. Preparation for general aptitude
This section includes the numerical ability & verbal ability. This section is common for all the applicants. Here in this section, English Grammar plays a vital/ necessary role. If applicants have a good command over English Grammar then it will be little easy for them to attempt.
