CTET Result 2018: CBSE is expected to issue a notification regarding application form of CTET 2018, soon. Note: From the current academic year 2018-19, the CTET will be conducted in once in a year. Earlier, it used to be conducted twice in a year, viz in February and September.
How to check the CTET Result 2018?
The CTET 2018 Result which is declared by the CBSE in an online mode will be announced one or two months after the exam. An applicant must follow the steps given below to check the result:
- Step 1: Click on the link which will be updated here after the announcement of the CTET 2018 Result.
- Step 2: Applicants will be navigated to the result login page and click the same.
- Step 3: Enter the Roll No. in the box to be specified therein and hit the submit button.
- Step 4: The CTET Result 2018 will appear on the screen and download the same.
- Step 5: Take a printout of the scorecard for future reference.
Contents of CTET Result 2018
As soon as a applicant enters his/her hall ticket number, the following particulars will be displayed on the screen:
- Roll Number
- Father’s Name/Husband’s Name
- Name of the Subject and
- Marks obtained in each subject as well as overall marks in CTET Result 2018
Criteria for awarding CTET 2018 Certificate
The CBSE follows the following criteria for awarding the Certificate of CTET Result 2018:
A applicant whose score is 60% or more than 60% in the Test of teacher eligibility then he or she will be considered as a qualified applicant. In other words, the appearing applicant has to score at least 90 marks out of 150 marks in order to appear as a qualified applicant and only such a applicant will be entitled to receive the CTET certificate.
Through this certificate, the applicant will enjoy first preferences in the recruitment process. However, such applicants must keep in mind that gaining this certificate will not ensure the right to any person for recruitment/employment as it only provides the holder an access for the appointment.
Further, it completely depends on the management authorities of the school governed either by local bodies, Government or Government unaided and aided in providing concessions to the person belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc. Such a consideration depends on the extant reservation policy of the school.
Validity Period of CTET 2018 Certificate
The CTET 2018 Certificate gained after being successful in the CTET Result 2018 will be valid for a period of 07 years from the date of result announced for all categories.
Applicability of CTET 2018 Certificate
The Applicability of CTET certificate rests with all the school belonging to Central Government, i.e., NVS, KVS, Central Tibetan Schools etc. & schools that come under the administrative control of Union Territories such as Chandigarh, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi. The applicability of the certificate also extends to various unaided private schools which also exercise the alternative of considering the CTET.
Besides, the other schools which come under this category, are managed by the local bodies or State Government and aided schools, take TET test that is conducted by the state government. Further, these also include such schools which take CTET into its consideration if the state government takes the decision of not conducting the State TET.

About CTET 2018
The CBSE is going to conduct the 12th Edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018, soon. The exam is held to provide teaching eligible certificate, for class 1 to 8.
