Women empowerment is a very important issue in present society. Various movements, both national and international, are taking place to increase women empowerment. One of the most important of these is the #MeToo movement, which recently kicked off in India. It has its roots in the #MeTooPrevention movement, started in the US in October 2017. It is interesting to note that it was Mary Wollstonecraft who first raised the issue of women empowerment in the late 18th century.
Women empowerment has always been a topic of discussion in nowadays. The women of today are fighting for equality, fighting for their rights. They go to every extent to claim their rights and freedom. They try to gain freedom and equality in different ways and they do it by giving back to others and helping others. We all need to learn how to be equal and we need to start doing that.
