Introduction:
India is my homeland. In every way, my nation is beautiful and powerful. Even India has had many political, social, and economic crises.
Still, India has certain issues or crimes that need to be addressed quickly, but there are some individuals who are extremely selfish and just care about themselves; the nation or other citizens are unimportant to them.
Corruption
Corruption is one of the problems that has been a major concern in India for many years. India is a wealthy and growing nation, but it must undergo certain adjustments in order to go from a developing to a developed one.
Money, as they say, is everything. Some individuals who have power have it for the benefit of their country, but instead of utilizing it for the country’s growth, they utilize it for themselves and beg the poor for money.
Hospitals and Corruption
When a person becomes grown, corruption does not occur; it occurs when the kid is still in her mother’s womb. Many hospitals request that the woman be delivered by c-section even if it is not necessary to charge the family extra money.
Admissions Corruption
If a kid wishes to enroll in a reputable institution that would benefit him in the future, he may face many difficulties in obtaining admission owing to a sickness known as corruption.
Initiative by the government
Due to duplicate printing of the notes, our honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi Ji, demonetized the 500 and 1000 rupee notes on November 8th.
Many corrupt individuals were arrested when presenting old money for exchange with new currency as a result of demonetization.
Tax on Good Service
However, many corrupt individuals are still shielded from official scrutiny. To further decrease corruption, a new method known as the GST (good service tax) was used in tax payment. The GST is a single tax that all consumers must pay when they buy anything.
Previously, consumers were had to pay a variety of taxes, including vat and others, which were very perplexing to citizens.
My Vision
Now, my perspective on corruption is that although Mr. Narendra Modi Ji has made positive steps to eliminate corruption from society, we have yet to witness the end of this social problem.
The government should devise a new method of catching the corrupt officer red-handed and exposing them to the public so that no one else would beg for the corruption.
Every person should protest against corruption in order to bring about societal change. The folks in the middle class are the ones who suffer the most as a result of this societal ill. Every family from the middle or lower classes is hoping for a positive result from the government initiative. Bribery should be discouraged among Indian citizens since it is the fundamental source of corruption.
