Uttarakhand Pre-Medical Test (UPMT) is a state level entrance exam of Uttarakhand state. UPMT was organized by the HNBUMU (H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University). This entrance exam was prepared for providing admission in several medical programmes such as BDS/ MBBS offered by the government medical/ private/dental universities/colleges of Uttarakhand. Since the year 2016, it has been substituted by the NEET exam. The counselling for MSQS (medical state quota seats) will be arranged by the same HNBUMU (H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University). UPMT 2017 Registration

Applicants can fill their application form via online mode only which can be done through official website. Application Form for UPMT 2017 will be started from 3rd week of March 2017 (tentative). After the online registration, applicants are requested to take a hard-copy (printout) of the confirmation page for further preferences.

Application Fee

Applicants those who belong to General/OBC category need to pay Rs. 2000/- as an application fee whereas applicants belong to SC/ST category need to pay Rs. 1400/- for the same. Applicants can pay their application fee through both mode i.e. online mode (internet banking, credit card) or by offline mode (e-Challan and Bank Draft).

UPMT 2017 Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Applicant must need to complete their intermediate examination or alike along with subjects like PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology) and English.
  • General category applicants need to secure minimum 50% of marks, whereas applicants belong to SC/ST/OBC category need to secure 40% of marks for the same & 45% (General Category PH).
  • Applicants having age between 17 years to 25 years of age as on or before 31 December, 2017. Then they are eligible for the exam. Age relaxation of 5 years are given to the reserved category.
  • Appearing applicants are also eligible apply for UPMT 2017.
  • Applicant has a valid Domicile of UK (Uttarakhand)
  • Applicants those have completed their intermediate or high school from UK (Uttarakhand) Board, they can also eligible to apply.

UPMT Exam Pattern

  • UPMT 2017 question paper contain total 200 MCQ’s.
  • For each and every correct answer applicants will be rewarded with 1 mark.
  • The Exam will be held in Hindi or English.
  • No negative marking will be done in UPMT 2017.
  • Exam duration is 3 hours.

UPMT Syllabus 2017

The syllabus for UPMT 2017 exam will comprise of the subjects ZoologyBotany, Physics, & Chemistry. It will be prearranged from the syllabus of Class Xth & XIIth.

UPMT 2017 Admit Card

Applicants need to download their admit card from the official website. UPMT Admit Card 2017 will be declared from the 1st week of May 2017 (tentative). Applicant can download the admit card by entering their application number that is provided to them at the time of filling their application form & DOB.

UPMT 2017 Answer Key

UPMT Answer Key 2017 will be announced by the organizing authority. The answer key will be published on the official site. With the help of answer key, applicant can get a rough idea that how much marks they got in exam.

UPMT 2017 Result

Result for UPMT 2017 will be published on the official website of HNBUMU. The controlling/ conducting body announced the result along with the merit and rank list. Applicants can check their result on the official website from 3rd week of May 2017 (tentative). Applicants are advised to take a hard-copy (print out) of the merit list for further counselling process.

UPMT 2017 Counselling

On the basis of merit list counselling will organized. There is no letter/notification/post will be sent to the applicants. The counselling process starts from the 2nd week of September 2017 (tentative). The counseling will be held only via online mode. Applicant need to pay the counselling registration fee i.e. Rs. 1000 for the applicants belong to General Category whereas Rs.700 for the applicants belong to SC/ST. The counselling will be conducted in 2 phases. In case seats will remain empty, then the 3rd phase counselling will be organized.
