NEET PG Counselling 2018

  • On the basis of marks secured by the applicants in the NEET PG 2018 examination merit list will be prepared.
  • Merit list will be categorized into:
    All India NEET PG 2018 rank
    All India 50% quota rank
    All India 50% quota category rank & Private medical colleges rank/ State quota.
  • According to their rank the applicants can participate in the counselling process.
  • Applicants need to fill their choices of colleges and courses in the counselling procedure.
  • As per the rank, filled preferences and seats availability the admission process will be further done.

NEET PG Counselling 2018: Procedure

Step 1: Registration

  • Firstly applicants need to visit the official web portal of exam conducting authority i.e. MCC.
  • Then click the button ‘Applicant Login NEW’.
  • After that provide the Testing ID, Confirmation Number/ Application Number, applicant’s name, Roll Number, date of birth, and Mother’s Name.
  • Then verify your identity by entering the password and security question.
  • Now hit the final ‘Submit button’ for registration.

Step 2: Exercising Options

  • Now applicant need to fill and lock their choices according to the preference.
  • After that they need to click the ‘Choice Available’ and afterward choose the preferences.
  • Now applicant’s will find the selected preferences get shifted to the right side of the computer screen.
  • Then click the ‘Save & Continue’ button.

Step 3: Process of Mock Seat Allotment

  • Applicants will be allocated an indicative seat through which the applicant can collect information regarding their probable seat, in prior of the final seat allotment process.
  • Suppose, no seat has been allocated it means you are not eligible to get a seat.

Step 4: Locking of Choices

  • Applicant need to lock their filled choices otherwise, they won’t be considered for seat allocation process.
  • Applicants are required to take the hard copy (printout) of their locked choices.
  • Keep it in mind that seats once locked won’t be interchanged.

Step 5: Final Seat Allotment Process

  • Applicant will be allocated a final seat in the institute or in a college, after successful completion of all abovementioned procedures.
  • Applicant will receive an allotment letter for allocation of a final seat.

Step 6: Report at your Allocated Institute

  • Applicants need to report at the allocated center on the given date along with allotment letter and all other necessary documents.
  • It is necessary for all the applicants to report at the allocated institute, otherwise, they won’t be considered for admission.
