NEET 2018 Application Form Correction

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is controlled by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), Delhi for providing admission to BDS and MBBS courses offered by several govt. and non-govt. dental and medical colleges in India. NEET 2018 is conducted in place of AIPMT exam as per order by Honorable Supreme Court of India. NEET 2018 Application Form Correction

There may be some mistakes in your filling details or with images that you upload while you will fill the application form for NEET exam 2018. Board looks softly to such mistakes and in focus to these matters/mistake board allow the correction period to make corrections in these entries. Correction window will be open from 1st week March 2018 and continue till 2nd week of March 2018. Applicants who commit mistake in their application form can not only submit their complaints/grievances in NEET 2018 but also correct online by log-in to their account. Complaints can be submitted after login the account. CBSE will look to your complaints and communicate via SMS or e-mail.

Correction in Other Particulars:

Looking into the requests received by the Authority/Board from the applicants to permit them to make correction in their data submitted in NEET 2018 application form, the Authority has decided to provide OTC (one time correction) OPPORTUNITY to the applicants only in the data which may affect the merit. Accordingly, correction will only be allowed in the below given data only:

Gender
Date of Birth
Disability Status
State Codes of Eligibility
Medium of Question Paper

For availing the correction facility, applicants are requested to visit the website during the schedule fixed for the correction facility. Correction in any other data is not allowed as this will not affect the candidature and the merit. Further, applicants are requested to be very careful while making corrections as no second opportunity will be made available for corrections.

After correction, applicants may print correction slip and retained the same for their reference and record. No correspondence/ e-mail thereafter will be considered by the Board in this regard. Due to correction in Category, if additional fee will be payable, the same will be remitted through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the given period only. Parents are supposed to read & understand all the above info. And help their ward in doing the needful correctly.

Correction in Scanned Images:

Applicants those who uploaded wrong Photograph, Signature & will be dejected by CBSE via an e-mail & SMS. Applicants can re-upload their documents by login to their application website in given time period.

Applicants who receive an E-mail or SMS from CBSE about application form correction should re-upload the scanned documents within the 3 days. All the applicants are recommended to fill their application form carefully, if by mistake some of the entries are wrongly entered, then applicants have chance to rectify their mistakes within correction time frame. Authority/ board has been provided the OTC (one time correction) opportunity in the field of State Code of Eligibility, Date of Birth, Category, Gender, and Disability Status.

How to Make Correction in NEET 2018 Application Form

Corrections in the filled-in application form of NEET 2018 can be done by following these simple steps:

  • Firstly you need to visit the Official Site of NEET.
  • Then visit ‘Applicants Login’ link.
  • After that enter your ‘registration number’ and ‘password’.
  • Then click on ‘link for correction’.
  • Now, correction window will open and you will be able to correct your filled details in the application form.
  • All applicants are advised to correct their mistakes carefully as no Second time correction opportunity will be provided further to the applicants.
