IRMA 2019 – The computer based test of IRMA has been conducted on February. The result of IRMA will be declared on February. The test comprised total 40 objective type questions on issues of social concern. Most of the questions were on government schemes or government institution. The overall paper was moderate. Applicants will be shortlisted for Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI) based on the scores of CAT 2018 or XAT 2019 and entrance test. IRMA: Programs

Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) offers different courses in the area of Rural Management to train students to become managers and contribute towards the development of rural management. Through its doctoral program IRMA aims to promote rural management education, research and training.

 Post Graduate Program in Rural Management (PRM)

This  is a two-year residential program, leading to a Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM). Students have the option of completing the two years at a stretch or in two stages. They can opt for Certificate in Rural Management (CRM) at the end of the first year. The CRM holders can rejoin within three years and complete the second year of the program to obtain PGDRM.

PGDRM is recognized as equivalent to a master’s degree by the Association of Indian universities (AIU) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). PGDRM is for those who wish to undertake challenging managerial responsibilities in the rural co-operative sector and development organizations.

Fellow Program in Rural Management (FPRM)

This is a Doctoral Program for people who wish to acquire specialized knowledge, skills, and attitudes for positions requiring conceptual and visioning skills in the co-operatives and development organizations. The FPRM is a full time residential program requiring a minimum of three years to complete. The specialization areas in this fellowship programs are:

Micro-finance Management
Governance and Livelihoods
Rural Infrastructure and Services Management and
Public Policy and Non-profit Management.

FPRM participants are paid a monthly stipend for a maximum period of three years plus a contingency grant per year for all the three years. Each participant is expected to contribute as teaching and research assistant during second and third year.

Certificate Program in Dairy Management

This program is of one year duration managed by a committee of 5 faculty members from IRMA. The course introduces students to Economics of Dairy Management, Quantitative Applications for Dairy Management, Milk Procurement Operations Management, Legal Environment of Dairying, Planning, Budgeting & Costing in Dairying.

Management Development Program (MDP)

This program addresses the in-service training needs of the executives and managers working in the co-operatives, not-for-profit organizations, and government and semi-government organizations engaged in rural development.

IRMA plays a vital role in fulfilling this need of the rural sector through its Management Development Program since 1981. So far, IRMA has conducted over 509 programs with an enrollment exceeding approximately 11325 personnel.

IRMA Eligibility Criteria 2019

  • All the applicants who want to apply for IRMA 2019 entrance exam must be a graduate, with minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education.
  • Applicant who belong to general category must have secured at least 50% marks and those who are from SC/ST/PwD category must have secured minimum 45% marks at graduation level.
  • All the applicants who are in the final year and who expected to complete all the requirements of graduation before 11th June, 2018 are eligible to apply.
  • Minimum qualification for appearing in IRMA 2019 Entrance Exam is a graduate degree.

PRM Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST applicants)
  • Final year students can also apply
  • There is no age limit for applying to IRMA 2019

FPRM Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicants must have any one of the following –
    • A PGDRM or GDRM degree from IRMA with 1 year post-diploma and work experience
    • A PG degree from recognized university with at least 55% marks in PG and 50% marks in graduation
    • A five-year professional degree with at least 60% marks and 1 year work experience
    • A four-year professional degree with at least 60% marks and 3 year work experience
  • UGC JRF score in relevant discipline

15% of the approved intake is allocated for admission to Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and Sons & Daughters of Non Resident Indian(s) / NRI Sponsored applicants.

IRMA Application Form 2019

The applicants who fulfil the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can fill the application form for IRMA 2019. The application process for IRMA exam 2019 has started on October. The applicants can fill the application form for online or offline. The last date of IRMA 2019 application form of both online and offline is January, 2019. A valid email id is required for registration. Also, scanned images of passport size photo and signature should be kept in handy. All the details must be filled correctly. Along with submitting the application form for Issues of Social Concern test, the applicants must also pay the application fee online. To apply offline, the applicants need to purchase IRMA application form 2019 from the IRMA admission counter. The applicants can fill the form and mail it to the admissions office of IRMA. IRMA Selection Procedure 2019

The applicants who wish to pursue PRM programme from IRMA must appear for Common Admission Test 2018 or Xavier Aptitude Test 2019. IRMA shortlists applicants for Issues of Social Concern exam on the basis of CAT/ XAT scores. The shortlisted applicants need to appear for IRMA 2019 test. The applicants who meet the cutoff criteria of IRMA exam are invited for Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI). On the basis of the overall performance of the applicants, IRMA releases the final selection list. This concludes the selection process.

IRMA Syllabus 2019

IRMA 2019 comprises Issues of Social Concern test. The questions in this test are based on India’s economy, development goals, Human Development Index, disparities in income, the right to information, agricultural system, rural development policy, health issues, poverty alleviation, primary education, internal security, environmental issues etc.

IRMA Admit Card 2019

The admit card of IRMA 2019 has been issued on January. Applicants have to download the admit card online. To download IRMA admit card, applicants have to enter their form or roll number and date of birth. The admit card will be issued to only those applicants who have registered for the exam before the last date. The admit card contains information pertaining to applicants, date, time and address of test centre.

IRMA Exam Pattern 2019

IRMA 2019 is a computer-based test. The total duration of the exam is 80 minutes. Applicants will have to answer 40 questions within 80 minute. The exam will have questions on General Awareness and topics covered under Issues of Social Concern. All questions will be objective type. Every question has five options and the applicants must select the right one. As far as the marking scheme is concerned, 1 mark is awarded for every correct answer and 0.25 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

IRMA Result 2019

The result of IRMA 2019 will be announced on March, 2019. On the basis of the IRMA result of online test, applicants are shortlisted for Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI) round. On the basis of the overall scores of the applicants, the final selection list is prepared. The successful applicants are offered admissions in the PGDRM programme offered by IRMA.

IRMA Cutoff 2019
