HTET exam is considered to be very famous exam In Haryana and especially in among those candidates who want to make their career as a Lecturer or as a Government Teacher. Previously it was called as STET (State Teacher Eligibility Test) but later it was renamed as HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) by the State Govt.

HTET 2019 exam is organized for the 3 Level Teachers:

  • Level 1:For Candidates those who want to join as a Primary Teacher ( Ito Class V)
  • Level 2:For Candidates those who want to join as Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for VIto X
  • Level 3:For Candidates those who want to join as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) For XIXII

HTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • For PRT (Primary Teacher) Level an Candidate need to qualify The D.ED Exam Means JBT Exam.
  • For TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Level an candidate Must have completed the Graduation and B.ED as per according to the relevant Subject.
  • For PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Level an candidate must be Post Graduate & Along With the B.ED as per according to the relevant Subject.

Application Fees:

  • Candidates belong to general category/ URneed to pay application Fees 600
  • Candidates belong to Reserve Categoryneed to pay 300
  • For all other candidates and all other states candidates need to pay Rs. 600 as an application form fees.

Age Limit:

The minimum age for applying is 18 years and the maximum age for applying is 38 years. If any candidate does not fit in this criteria he is not eligible for the exam.

HTET Selection Process:

Candidates must have to secure minimum 60% of Marks only then he/she is eligible to crack the HTET Exam 2019.

How to Apply Online HTET 2019

  • Firstly candidates need to Visit official website (i.e.in)
  • Then select the option name Online Application form filling.
  • After that candidates need to all necessary details along with all the mandatory details as per asked by the Authority.
  • After that candidates need to Upload their Scanned Photograph as well as your signature
  • When candidates all done with uploading process then recheck all the details and if all details are right simply click submit button.
  • After candidates submit their application form then they are requested to take a hard copy (printout) of the form for further use.

Haryana TET 2019 Syllabus:-

Level-1- For becoming Teacher for Classes I-V : Primary Teacher

The questions in the tests for Level-I will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus for classes I-V, but their difficulty standard, as well as linkages, could be upto the secondary stage.

Level-2-For becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage (TGT)

The questions in the tests for Level-2 will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the Board of School Education Haryana for classes VI-VIII but their difficulty standard as well linkages could be upto the senior secondary stage

Level-3:Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

The questions in the test will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the Board of School Education Haryana for classes IX -XII but their difficulty standard as well linkages could be upto the Post-Graduate level.

HTET 2019 Exam Pattern:-

  • Mode of Exam – Pen Paper Based
All Questions in HTET will be Multiple Choice Questions. Each Carrying One Mark with Four Alternatives Out of which One Answer will be correct. There should be no Negative Marking.

Level 1- For becoming Teacher for Class I – IV: Primary Teacher

  • Duration – Two and a Half Hours
  • There shall be only one paper. All Questions will be multiple choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct
  • Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 MCQs – 30 Marks
  • Languages (Hindi 15 MCQs & English 15 MCQs) – 30 MCQs- 30 Marks
  • General Studies (Quantitative Aptitude 10 MCQs, Reasoning Ability 10 MCQs and Haryana G.K and Awareness 10 MCQs) – 30 MCQs – 30 Marks
  • Mathematics – 30 MCQs – 30 Marks
  • Environment Studies – 30 MCQs – 30 Marks –
  • Total – 150 Marks

Level 2- For becoming Teacher for Class VI-VIII Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

  • Duration – Two and a Half Hours
  • There shall be only one paper. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
  • Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 MCQs – 30 Marks
  • Languages (Hindi 150 MCS and English 15 MCQs) 30 MCQs – 30 Marks
  • General Studies (Quantitative Aptitude 10 MCQs, Reasoning Ability 10 MCQs and Haryana G.K and Awareness 10 MCQs) – 30 MCQs – 30 Marks
  • Subject Specified as opted – 60 MCQs – 60 Marks 
  • Total – 150 marks

 Level 3 – Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

  • Duration – Two and a Half Hours
  • There shall be only one paper. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
  • Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 MCQs – 30 Marks
  • Languages (Hindi 150 MCS and English 15 MCQs) 30 MCQs – 30 Marks

Qualifying Marks –

  • For all category except Scheduled Castes and Differently abled / Physically Challenged – 60% (90 Marks)
  • For Scheduled Castes and Differently abled / Physically Challenged of Haryana Domicile – 55% (82 Marks)
  • For Scheduled Castes and Differently abled / Physically Challenged of other States – 60% (90 Marks).
