CUCET 2018 is a national level entrance test that is organized jointly by the eight central universities together. The eight universities are: Central University of Jharkhand, Karnataka, Punjab, Kashmir, Haryana, Jammu, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. This test is organized for admission into the Under Graduate, Research Programme and Post Graduate Programme in various educational and professional field respectively in these 8 Central Universities. CUCET Application Form 2018

  • Application form for CUCET 2018 will be available only through online mode from the official website.
  • There is no provision for offline application form.
  • Application Form for CUCET 2018 will be obtainable from the 19th Feb, 2018.
  • Last Date of Online Submission of application form is 1st week of May 2018 (tentative).
  • Aspirants can pay their application fee through online or offline mode.
  • After the submission of the application form through online mode with online payment an automated SMS and e-mail will be sent to the aspirant mobile number and e-maid ID.
  • Aspirants those who made fee payment through Challan have to wait for 7 days after submission of the application form.
  • Aspirants can apply for a specific/particular course for a maximum of the 3 Participating Universities (PU’s) along with a maximum of 3 options of programmes in each of the selected PU.

CUCET Eligibility Criteria

Here, we are providing the eligibility criteria to appear in CUCET 2018 exam. Every universities has it’s different eligibility criteria for each different courses. Aspirants appearing in the qualifying exam are eligible for CUCET 2018.

CUCET 2018 Exam Pattern

  • Papers: Question paper will consist of 2 parts i.e. PART A and PART B.
  • No. of Questions: Question paper consist of total 100 MCQs (multiple choice questions).
    1. PART A will be consist of 25 questions.
    2. PART B will be consist of 75 MCQs questions and divided into 5 sections.
    3. Each section will consist of 25 questions of each.
    4. There is a provision that an aspirant will require to answer any 3 section of the set (i.e. 75 questions).
    5. For Integrated Courses/MBA/LLB/LLM/MCA or any other general courses, only 1 paper will be organized which will contain total 100 MCQ’s.
  • Language: English language.
  • Duration: Exam contain a duration of 2 hours (120 minutes).
  • Negative Of marking: NO negative marking provision for this examination.

CUCET Syllabus

Syllabus for CUCET 2018 is different for every course. The syllabus of PG courses will be separate for their prescribed/suggested courses.

Syllabus for UGO 1:

  • This paper will contain of 2 parts: PART A and PART B.
  • PART A comprises of general awareness, Language, analytical skills topics and mathematical aptitude.
  • PART B consists of topics are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

Syllabus for UGO 2:

  • The syllabus will be containing topics of the following disciplines: English, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, General Knowledge, Analytical Skills, and General Aptitude.

Syllabus for Ph.D./M.Phil. Research Programme:

The syllabus of M.Phil. /Ph.D. Research Programme will be comprise as that prescribed for the UGC-CSIR/others NET-JRF Exam.

CUCET 2018 Admit Card

All Aspirants can download their admit card from the official website. Admit Card for CUCET 2018 will be released on 13th April, 2018. The admit card will be contains details like aspirant roll number, aspirant name, exam date, and exam venue, etc.

CUCET 2018 Result

Results for CUCET 2018 will be published in the 25th May, 2018. Aspirants can download their CUCET 2018 Result from the official website. On the basis of aspirant’s performance, merit list will be prepared. After merit list published all successful aspirant need to attend the counseling procedure for seat allotment process.

CUCET Answer Key

Candidates can get the answer key through online mode in the official website. CUCET 2018 Answer Key has been released after a few days of the examination. It has been announced on 30th April 2018. candidates can make objection against answer key till 4th May 2018. The final answer key will be released on 11th May 2018.

CUCET 2018 Counselling

After the result declaration, the counseling procedure will be begins. CUCET Counselling 2018 will consist of online allotment/allocation of seats and certificate/document verification. Counselling will be organized only for the selected aspirants. The seat will be allotted on the basis of the aspirant’s marks/rank/performance and availability of seats for the desired course.
