AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) has been the eldest and the most foremost Central Universities of India harboring rich culture and unique legacy/ inheritance of its own. Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam (AMUEEE), the acronym for AMU Engineering Entrance Exam, is conducted for providing admission to the enthusiastic/willing applicants to the different courses of engineering. The numerous subjects in which engineering courses are offered includes civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering computer engineering, chemical engineering, and the petroleum engineering.

The AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) also offers bachelor of Engineering (BE) courses for applicants who are diploma holders. However, it conducts an entrance exam and applicants need to pass it if they want admission into BE (Bachelor of Engineering) courses. There is an outstanding engineering faculty to offer programs in disciplines Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Those applicants who hold a diploma degree in Engineering or those applicants working in the engineering department are also eligible to apply for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) evening courses.

Eligibility Criteria for AMUEEE : 

Eligibility for BE (Bachelor of Engineering) courses: Diploma in Engineering is must in the branch of study or the examination which is recognized by the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and the applicant must have grab a minimum of 50% of marks. Those applicants who have been working outside the country must submit the Experience Certificate verified by the Embassy or the Concerned Consulate. Applicants who bear Expert Experience of having worked in Government or Semi Government or in Public sector will be rewarded by 2.5 marks for each year of the working which is subject to a maximum of 25 marks.

 

Eligibility in B.Tech courses: Ambitious applicants should have passed their 12th (Senior Secondary School) Certificate Examination of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) or any other alike exam with the minimum of 50% of marks in various subjects like Chemistry, English, Physics, and Mathematics.

OR

A diploma in Engineering of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) with the minimum of 50% of marks at least in total.

How to apply for AMUEEE 2017 :

Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam (AMUEEE) examination takes place every each year to allow the applicants to gain admission to the undergraduate engineering courses like the Bachelor of Engineering and B. Tech. After release of AMUEEE 2017 official notification, The Following procedure needs to be followed:

  1. Firstly applicants need to Register then on the official website i.e. amu.ac.in.
  2. Then applicants need to Find out the link “Apply Online” and click on the AMUEEE application form for apply
  3. Then enter your appropriate details in the application form
  4. After filling all the appropriate details, then you need to click on the ‘submit’ button to submit your form for further action.
  5. After applicants complete with their form filling and submit procedure, then applicant need to take the hardcopy (printout) of the filled in form for further reference.
  6. To complete the procedure, applicants need to pay Rs. 500 for application fees. And applicants are advised to put a DD or the Demand Draft in support of Finance Office, AMMU, which is payable at AMU. You can also straightly pay the fee to the finance office of AMU.
